Bob Walpole
When you think of the Myrtleford Ski Club and also dig back into its history one name that jumps out at you from all corners of that history is the name Walpole. It would be fair to say that the name Walpole is synonymous with Myrtleford Ski Club.
Bob is obviously one of the ‘clan’ and, once again, when the club reformed immediately after WW2, Bob was involved with both the building of the original lodge and he was on the committee for 6 years from the 1947 until 1952 all of these serving as the Vice President of the club. Together with his cousins Dick and Roy (also both Life Members) it would be fair to say they formed the backbone of the club for many years.
