Chris Bacon 2022

Chris Bacon joined the Club in 1997. He has been a very active Club man, serving on the Committee for 16 years, including an incredible 13 years as Secretary… he is the longest serving Secretary in the Club’s history!
During this time Chris took on many major tasks, including:

• Moving the Club’s correspondence online
• Consolidating the hand-written databases into one spreadsheet
• Administrating the annual race day for 9 years
• Building the Club's first website
• Organising the 75th anniversary celebrations
• Constitution overhaul
• Lease negotiations

Chris, always had the best interests of the club at heart and devoted many hours to
it’s administration with enthusiasm and unbridled commitment to the Club.
