David was one of the group that re-formed the Ski Club after the war. He was elected to the club committee on several occasions between 1958 and 1988, serving as President (6 years), Vice President (3 years), Secretary (1 year) and as a general committee person on 3 occasions. David also served as the Booking Officer for 2 years and as the Race Captain. In total he served for 13 years on the club committee.
