MSC Club Races

The Myrtleford Ski Club holds annual races at Falls Creek. This event was strong contested in the 1950s and 60s. waning in popularity in the 1970s, the Committee at the time put great effort into resurrecting the events and it now sees strong support each year. Events include downhill and now boarding races, as well as the Founder's Cup which was introduced in 2022 and is held with Albury Ski Club. 

The Club has a proud history in Cross Country skiing also, particularly the Hoppet. Club Members Malcolm McKinnon and Charlie Taylor are in fact 'Legends of the Kangaroo Hoppet' (having competed in the event each year for 30 years) and in 2023, the 'Taylor McKinnon Cup' was announced. This will be awarded each year to the MSC member sho places highest in the Hoppet each year.
