Our Lodge Managers are now back in residence and they are ready to oversee a great snow season at Myrtleford Ski Club. While bookings are looking strong for the next few months, there remains some availability throughout so please reach out to David and Fiona if you have any additional requests.
For those heading up the hill this weekend, have a great time and enjoy the festivities. You may spy a fabulous new Champagne bucket which is perfect for weekends like this. Many thanks to Di Gavin who has kindly donated this to the club on behalf of herself and Barry. Cheers to the Gavin family!
CAR PARKING THIS WINTER
Please note the following advice from a recent FCAA newsletter. As more information is provided, we will share this. You are best advised to check the Falls Creek website ahead of any visit this year for the latest.
FROM FCAA: This year, FCARM will ask that ALL visitors provide warning of their visit to the Resort by logging - online, your arrival date and departure as well as whether you are staying On Mountain or Off Mountain.
This is being done to better manage the expected higher levels of parking demand for overnight parking.
If you, as a holder of a Resort entry Season’s pass do not notify of your impending visit, then there is a very remote chance that you may not be able to park at the Resort if others, who have notified in advance of their stay are ahead of you. More on this closer to season commencement.
LOOKING GOOD ON THE SLOPES
Our Club President Alistair has been busy sourcing some great club merch including hoodies, t-shirts and caps. Full details, pricing and order forms will be shared soon. Watch this space.
WINTER LODGE USAGE
Please remember that all members and guests staying at the Lodge are required to complete their assigned duty tasks. This is not just at the end of your stay, but throughout the duration. It's up to all to assist the managers in keeping the Lodge safe, clean and tidy. Untidy communal areas such as the TV room, toilets and overflowing bins are a common source of frustration for all so please be respectful of all and pitch in to help. Thank you!
